Holidays and play days. 12:57 PM

Last week was fun packed week.
Got to meet up many people and had loads of fun catching up. :)

Let's start off with the girlies.
    Athey and Ru.
We finally met up after all our crappy summer courses.
    Athey wasn't feeling too well.
So we spent time talking and eating non stop at 2 different places - The Big O and Sakura.
    :)

The chocolate breast. Inside: Fresh blended durian. F-delicious.

    Baileys Cheesecake.
Can't really taste the baileys, think its the durian's fault. But i don't mind.

Typical Ru's creation. The cutesy type. haha.
I like the picture with her though! :)
Ru: rmbr to send the rest of the pictures ay!

The girls that i had a brilliant time working together
and we do produce a high degree of standard of work.

The other gathering was with the greatly missed Hubbers.
We decided to go to WeiJia's house to swim.
The new condo at Bayshore. Its called coasta del sol (if i am not wrong).
    The swimming pool was fantastic.
Plus many ang moh babies. Very very adorable.
    Best part?
They have a separate 4m diving pool with 3 different levels of diving board!

I had such a great time with them.
    Their company are just fabulous.
We had Carl's Jr after that and went a beach stroll then decided to Kbox @ marina.
Puts a smile on my face still when i think about that day. :)
More pictures with Sam's camera, so i'll upload the next post. :)

Baby and me went back to TP to eat again. :)
This time, biz park! oei! haha.
I missed those crazy freshman cheering times.

    HOR fun v tasty HOR.

Na's favourite lunch mate as well: Tom yum soup. :)

Some Pictures of campus during the summer course.

After the DP architects talk. :)

    TP marketers persevere!

Since baby completed his exams, so we were left with a few days that we can have our holidays together, before he heads back to work in Nord Bank. :)

We Went to changi beach after a very filled tummy from steamboat with his pals.

(Pictures from left): see the warm welcoming light but you don't die, SQ airline over our heads, it is NOT UFO. :)

    The latest completed serial?
少年杨家将 (aka: the young yang warriors)
I don't normally watch shows that are in donkey years setting.
But I got so addicted to this.
Perhaps i had that sense of relativity, since i'm a Yang too.

The show made me laugh and cried like a little girl.
Javien said maybe 500 years ago you belong to that family. haha.
The mummy of the all the warriors is one who is very brave, can cook and fight.
I hope to be her one day.
But i don't think i want to give birth to 8 children. haha!

The pretty and brave Yang Mummy.

Its still showing on weekend nights on channel U if i am not wrong.
    Brief story:
In the Song Dynasty, the yang family spearhead the entire Song military to protect their country and emperor against their enemies.
Of course there were the bad ones
who is the other right hand man of the emperor- The Pan family.
So Yang Ye (Yang family's father) was a great soldier and he was the general who was uber loyal to the emperor while Pan was the prime minister who was that bugger who distort facts to the emperor and desires for his throne.

The serial went on with each character development with their love lives and family ties.
Pan over and over again making things difficult for them.
At the very end, all 5 men of the Yang family died (including the Dad - general) in war,
leaving 2 other brothers, all the sister in laws and the youngest sister alive.

The general and his 2 children in the battle.

The 2 other brothers then reformed the military and had another battle with their enemies. The mother and sisters in law trained into great soldiers and enter the battle field together with the rest of the army against their enemies. (they were at the front line, mind you.)
I like their armour. Like samurai. :)
So yeps. The sequel's 杨门女将 (The female Yang warriors/ heroines)
where they continue to safeguard their country after all their husbands eventually die.

Before i going into that, I'm watching sex and the city season 2. :D
Will complete the entire 6 seasons by the time school officially opens again.

    Salvation - The Cranberries

    hee
yep. That's the feeling when you complete your exams. (read blog's title)
I guess i gave my best shot at it.

Indiana Jones up tonight for me. hur.
That old guy, better show me some good stuff.
I've seen reviews of it being a 4star material.

    Some post mothers' day peeks.
We decided to cook for our mummy dearest on this special day as her husband is outta town. The usual her forbids us from the kitchen 'cause she has this thing for cleanliness. Perhaps that is one reason why Miss lala and me aren't really good cooks cause she always says "SHOO! out you go! ur footprints of these oil stains are gonna be all over the house. gogogogogo!!"

But she's a great cook! I wanna learn! When we grew a little older, she starts allowing us to be her little apprentice. Chop garlic, chilli, pluck tau kay, etc. haha. I want to be able to cook for my family in future too.

So anyways, it was me, miss lala, javien and some of their closer friends to come to potluck.
Me, Miss lala, Javien cooking for the day.

    Shar's Vietnamese Spring roll. yum!

Miss lala's turkish delight - Potato, cheese and many nice stuffs (like subway in potato!)

TADA, the attendees and food! Other potluck items: Whole roasted chicken and sushi

Not at home now, so can't upload the picture of Javien's gong bao prawn.
    Turns out very yummy too!
Today is a happy day too.
Ask me why ask me why?

Because i get to go back to TP to makan!
    HAHA!

    Target location today: Mensa 2!

"Aunty, soft shell crab bento set ONE!"

    Beloved Chicken salad!

After missing 2 years, baby told me this garlic bread is existent since salad bar opened.
BAHH! Dunk it in very rick mushroom soup. HEAVEN!!!

    Crispy Chicken cutlet. heh.

Feasting all of these under SGD$15/-
    Whistles*
baby insisted the desert stall is good. I beg to differ.
he says durian ice's good. U can try the next time.
Today ran out of it, he had red ruby. (just doesn't appeal to me.)
End result: finished every bit of the food! every bit!
    宁可杀错也不可放过!!Heh!

Lunch crowd Q! lucky us, we went earlier.

2 very happy, satisfied and big belly individuals after the meal!

I'm shifting house by this year.
    Still feeling gloomy about it.
    BAH!
But if there is really financial benefits for my parents i really don't mind.
Still, i already feel so attached to the current house.

Some final glimpse of my home sweet home and for those who haven't visit me yet (pls do)..

my dad says i'm crazy taking these pictures, say i act as housing agent. ahhaa.
I decided not to publish my parent's and Miss lala's room otherwise i might consider myself invading others' privacy. hee. You can come see for yourself. :))

"When u enter the house" view.

Shoes here place. There is a giant coca cola bottle where there is over a thousand lucky stars - a collaborative effort from my family. =)

    Our literal Living Room.

Bar counter and dinning room. =)

    My little cozy corner.

My work space in my corner.

i don't wanna bid it goodbye somehow. =S
A bus stop for all kinds of buses and routes to transport me to bedok, pasir ris, simei, even downtown.
Stone throw away to 24hr mac, kfc, pizza hut, watsons, food, etc. many many small spots for you to spend $$!

How do you like my new blog skin?
Spend quite some time on it. =)

    Over the weekend was fun!

Exams on this thursday, i have no clue why am i not in the least bit anxious or anything.
Open lap top instead of open book, but i guess it doesn't really matter.
I did those so called electronic notes so that i can refer.
2 hours for 4 essay questions.
Hmm... seems like i am gonna be little pressed for time.

Okay, gtg back for some stupid meeting in school.
